Featured online in the “New York Times”

Coolness! I just came across this September 2010 article in the New York Times, about the future of music packaging. One of the noted albums was Of Montreal’s “Skeletal Lamping”, (with a plug for their “False Priest” album as well.) I'm still very proud to have been a designer for the album and that whole campaign. Cheers to Polyvinyl and Of Montreal!

Good quotes from Kevin Barnes: “...and in the future, square CD packaging will be abandoned forever and only interesting art objects will fill record stores.”

Featured in “Better Homes & Garden”

My “bowls recipe card” and “Marigold Paper” are featured in the latest Better Homes & Garden, holiday issue! Thanks to LB and LH for telling me about it. I never pick up that magazine myself, but I noticed this time around they did a redesign that is quite nice. The new style is reminiscent of “BluePrint” and “Domino”, two lifestyle magazines that many were sad to see fold. Cool that they considered Marigolds as a holiday wrap!

Quite Strong

Thanks to the lovely ladies at Quite Strong for inviting me to their
“Lust List” of female designers and artists. I feel quite stronger for being a part of it!

Home is...

This had me laughing out loud for some time – artist Johannes P. Osterhoff built the Mac OSX house icon, and took it around town. I loved how he completed the details of the house to perfection. So clever!

All photos belong to Johannes P. Osterhoff, and came from his flickr account. He maintains all his rights to his photos.
